The Office of Community Outreach at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will offer the SAT Reasoning Test (formerly the Scholastic Aptitude Test) preparation class for local high school students from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 18-21.
The SAT is the most commonly used standardized college entrance exam and is combined with other admissions factors such as high school grades, recommendations, essays, and other academic records in determining admission. The test covers critical reading, mathematics, verbal and writing skills that are developed over the course of a student’s academic career.

Del Mar College’s Nuclear Medicine Technology Program has earned a 100 percent passing rate on board exams required by the Texas Department of State Health Services for certification for the fourth straight year. The program is in the College’s Department of Dental & Imaging Technology.
Eight Nuclear Medicine graduates recently sat for the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board exam, a 90-question multiple-choice test. The Class of 2011 includes:
